Following an extraordinary 2023-24 football season, which witnessed the Sesa Football Academy (SFA) achieve significant milestones, the academy is now gearing up for an even more ambitious 2024-25 season. SFA, the flagship CSR initiative of Vedanta Sesa Goa continues to affirm its status as a premier institution for nurturing football talent in India.

Vedanta Sesa Goa’s flagship CSR Initiative, Sesa Football Academy (SFA) partnered All India Football Federation (AIFF) & Goa Football Association, in organising the AIFF ‘D’ License Course at its Sirsaim campus. This five-day coaching programme marked a significant step in the professional development of aspiring football coaches, offering them the foundational skills and knowledge required to embark on their coaching careers.

Goa, 9^th June’24: In a glittering Awards Ceremony, hosted by the Goa Football Association (GFA), Vedanta’s Sesa Football Academy (SFA) bagged the top accolades for having displayed stellar performances during the 2023-24 season. The annual event, which celebrates the year-round achievements of GFA-registered clubs, witnessed SFA being honoured in both individual & team categories.

2^nd June 2024, Panjim, Goa: Vedanta’s Sesa Football Academy Senior Men’s Team was felicitated at the SFA Sirsaim Campus for their first-ever Runners’-Up finish in the just concluded Goa Pro League Top Tier for the 2023-24 Season. The League showing has guaranteed SFA its maiden I-League 3 participation which is a major breakthrough. The felicitation ceremony was organised by Vedanta Sesa Goa.

Goa, 1^st May 2024: Vedanta’ flagship CSR initiative Sesa Football Academy’ Senior Men’s Football Team has secured the second spot in the Goa Pro League, the pre-eminent football league in Goa which was established since in 1996. In their final league match today ,Sesa Football Academy beat  Young Boys of Tonca 8-0 in a commanding show of attacking football.
