SFA’s qualification for the IWL marks an important step for women’s football in Goa. It is encouraging to see a team from the VWL progress to the national stage, reflecting the commitment shown by the Academy and its partners in building competitive playing structures in the state. I appreciate the efforts that have enabled Goan players to reach this level and I look forward to seeing SFA represent Goa with determination and discipline in the forthcoming season.

Sesa has made immense contributions to Indian football since 1999 through its academy, consistently producing some of the nation’s finest footballers. Goa has always been a proud footballing state, I would like to sincerely appreciate the tremendous contribution of Sesa Football Academy to the growth of the sport in our state, since their inception, in 1999, building on the legacy of the Sesa Sports Club. Their dedication to grassroots and youth development is truly commendable, but what’s even more inspiring is their long-standing commitment to promoting women’s football.

Through their partnership with the Goa Football Association, they have successfully organized the Vedanta Women’s League for eight consecutive seasons, creating a solid platform for over 1400 aspiring women footballers to showcase their talent.

Sesa Football Academy continues to be a driving force in shaping Goa’s footballing future, and I look forward to their continued efforts in nurturing talent and elevating the game to greater heights.

I have been associated with SFA since early years and have seen the academy grow into what it is right now. SFA has nurtured brilliant football talents and helped many footballers find their path in the game since its inception. Their quality grass root training programs carve a holistic journey for students and also helps in their overall growth.
