Panaji, Goa 4^th April 2022: The Vedanta-AWES Legends tournament will kickstart on April 9 at Sinquetim ground, Navelim- Salcete. The one-of-its-kind football event, organised by Vedanta in collaboration with Association for Wellbeing of Elder Sportspersons (AWES), will witness participation of over 80+ veterans football players.

Panaji, 3^rd November: Vedanta’s Sesa Football Academy has earned accreditation under Khelo India Talent Development programme which will help to further strengthen the grassroot football training program of the academy.

Sirsaim, Goa: Sesa Football Academy (SFA) commemorated the occasion of 75^th Independence Day with National flag hoisting at the academy campus followed by various engagement activities for the academy players, Coaches and youth from local community. Mr. Nicholas Pereira, Ex-Indian National team defender and Mr. Brahmanand Sankhwalkar, Arjuna awardee & Former Indian team captain graced the Independence Day celebrations at SFA including interactive session with SFA players, coaches, support staff and football enthusiasts from local community.

Panaji, Goa 22^nd July:  Yet another SFA alumnus, Shoib Akhtar is all set to make it big in Indian Football arena. Shoib who completed his training at SFA from 2017-20, has recently signed for prestigious Gokulam Kerala FC for the upcoming season.

Goa, 8th July 2021:  Vedanta sports continues football development initiatives through two major projects that is Sesa Football Academy (SFA) at Goa and Zinc Football Academy (ZFA) at Rajasthan. Recently an interactive session was organised with former Liverpool FC Academy coach and former North-East United FC coach, Mr.Gerard Nus, for the players of both the academies, through virtual platform.
